Two Partners Named Private Equity Rising Stars by Law.com International

Law.com International has named London corporate partner Neil Campbell and Frankfurt corporate partner Maximilian Platzer to its list of Private Equity Rising Stars: The Best Up-and-Coming Lawyers in the UK and Europe.

Neil Campbell, featuring in the list for the second time, was commended for his impressive client list including Bain and Astorg, alongside his role on advising Permira on its joint acquisition and combination of Kedrion and BPL. Maximilian Platzer was praised for his impressive work for clients such as Astorg on its acquisition of CordenPharma, one of the largest private equity deals in 2022, as well as the software investor Hg on the sale of the platform Transporeon.

Law.com International whittled down close to 100 submissions to the top 25 private equity lawyers aged under 40, highlighting the best of the up-and-coming talent in the UK and Continental European legal industry based on the quality of their client base; the scale, significance, and complexity of their deals; their client feedback and general market reputation; the standing of their mentor; and any other examples of career success and innovation.
