Amy Feinberg is a tax controversy associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Amy represents clients in all stages of federal tax controversies, from administrative proceedings to litigation. She has experience litigating in the US Tax Court, Federal Appellate Courts, and the US Supreme Court.
Amy leverages her substantive and procedural knowledge to help taxpayers reach the best option in a dispute, whether through settlement or litigation. She has particular experience with tax matters affecting the cryptocurrency, energy, and technology industries.
Amy writes frequently on tax matters and has spoken before the American Bar Association and other professional associations. She maintains an active pro bono practice, through which she serves asylum-seekers and low-income taxpayers.
Prior to joining Latham, Amy served as a law clerk to Judge Richard G. Taranto on the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
