Morgan Wesner is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Tax Department.

Morgan represents public and private companies, as well as private equity funds and real estate investment trusts (REITS), on executive compensation and employee benefits matters related to corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and SPACs, public company representation, including preparing executive compensation disclosures for proxy statements and other securities filings, as well as more discrete matters such as executive compensation arrangements, employment agreements, separation/severance agreements, and equity incentive arrangements.

Morgan has also represented clients in adoption, guardianship, SIJ, and asylum matters as well as domestic violence restraining order matters in a pro bono capacity. She has also provided pro bono representation for non-profit board management.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Morgan was a summer associate in the Los Angeles office, and served as a Law Clerk at the Cancer Legal Resource Center.

Morgan graduated from UCLA School of Law in the Order of the Coif, where she was named a Michael T. Masin Scholar. She received two Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Awards for Legal Research & Writing and Wills & Trusts, as well as a Masin Family Academic Silver Award for Property.
