  • Atlassian, in connection with Exchange Act claims filed by investors in federal court alleging that Atlassian and its officers misrepresented the health of key metrics, forcing the company to revise its go-forward revenue guidance
  • Lyft, a popular ridesharing company, in connection with Securities Act claims filed by investors in both state and federal court related to Lyft’s initial public offering Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange platform, in connection with derivative claims filed in Delaware Chancery Court related to director and officer sales of Coinbase stock in Coinbase’s direct listing
  • Virgin Galactic, a pioneering commercial spaceflight company, in connection with Exchange Act and derivative claims filed by investors in federal court related to the development of Virgin Galactic’s commercial spaceflight program
  • A major technology company, in connection with class action claims, including under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, alleging that its hardware warranties and repair policies unlawfully restrict third-party repair for virtually all of its hardware products
  • Zynga, a leading developer of popular online games, in connection with several class actions arising from a data breach perpetrated by criminal hackers
  • Deloitte, a Big Four accounting firm, in connection with civil litigation arising from the receivership of Direct Lending Investments
  • Morgan Stanley and fourteen other financial institutions that underwrote the initial public offering of Pivotal Software, Inc., in parallel state and federal Securities Act class actions

Aamir also maintains an active pro bono practice, including having served as co-counsel to Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus in a federal action against the city of Daly City seeking to enforce California’s “sanctuary state” laws, specifically the TRUTH and Values Acts. Aamir played a pivotal role in securing a favorable settlement on behalf of our client in this matter.
