Adele Zhang is an associate in the Century City office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice.

Adele represents production companies, studios, music studios, online platforms, financial institutions, streamers/content creators and other high-level talent, and other sports, entertainment, and media clients and advises them on a variety of transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, strategic investments and joint ventures, sponsorship arrangements, e-sports related agreements, and services agreements. She also represents growth-stage companies in the entertainment industry throughout their life cycles from formation to financings. 

Adele received her JD from Harvard Law School where she produced and directed the Harvard Law School Parody.

Prior to law school, she worked at a law enforcement technology startup.

Adele's experience includes advising:

  • Various popular streamers in their exclusive platform deals and sponsorship agreements.
  • Autograph in its formation and other general corporate matters, including its Series A and Series B financing rounds totaling over US$200 million
  • 88Rising in multiple equity financing transactions and general corporate matters 
  • H.I.G. Capital in its acquisition of RBmedia, an audiobook publisher and digital distributor
  • Houston Rockets in the acquisition of AT&T SportsNet Southwest with the Houston Astros 
  • Chess.com in its high-profile defamation and antitrust suit regarding cheating allegations
  • Various production companies in connection with their production credit facilities
