Alexandra Alekhina is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Alekhina represents clients on a broad range of matters, including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.

Ms. Alekhina advises on capital market transactions, representing issuers, investment banks, and investors in primary and secondary equity capital market transactions and general corporate matters.

Ms. Alekhina maintains an active pro bono practice, advising local charities.

Ms. Alekhina also serves on the firm’s Women Affinity Group London committee.

Prior to qualification, Ms. Alekhina spent two years training in the firm’s Moscow office and one year training in the firm’s London office.

  • Ukrainian Railways in connection with the offering of US$300 million 7.875% loan participation notes 
  • Borets International in connection with the solicitation of consents outside of the clearing systems relating to US$330 million 6.5% guaranteed notes due 2022
  • Citi, RBC, and BMO as placement agents on ACG Acquisition Company Limited’s US$1 billion de-SPAC acquisition of two Brazilian mines, including an equity placing and readmission to listing on the London Stock Exchange
  • WE Soda on its proposed IPO and Premium Listing on the London Stock Exchange 
  • A global financial technology company on its pre-IPO corporate reorganization
  • J.P. Morgan and Dragon Capital connection with a consent solicitation for the Eurobonds issued by Ukrainian Railways
  • Issuance by Enel Finance International N.V. and Enel Finance America, LLC of sustainability-linked bonds for US$4 billion
  • Tender offer of US$350,000,000 6.00% notes due 2023 issued by JSC Bank of Georgia
  • VTB Bank (PJSC) as arranger and lender in connection with the take private offer for KAZ Minerals PLC
  • ING (as documentation bank) in relation to a US$750 million credit facility for Evraz, a global metals and mining company and a leading producer of infrastructure steel products, provided by a club of ten international banks
