Alphonse Simon is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.

He represents public and private companies in a broad range of litigation and investigatory matters.

In addition to his professional practice, Alphonse maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals in immigration matters. 

Alphonse earned his JD from Yale Law School. While in law school, Alphonse served as an Executive Editor for the Yale Journal of Regulation, was a clinical student at the Veteran's Legal Services Clinic, and a student with the San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project. He was also a board member of the Black Law Student Association and First Generation Professionals. 

Alphonse also founded and runs a 501(c)(3) non-profit called Fighting for Fairness, which provides free LSAT tutoring and application support for low-income law school applicants. 

Prior to attending law school, Alphonse worked at Columbia Business School as a Microeconomics Research Associate and subsequently pursued a career in quantitative research.
