Amanda Farrish represents issuers and financial institutions in a variety of capital markets transactions. Her transactional work includes advising on:
- Initial public offerings (IPOs) and other equity financings
- High-yield and investment grade debt offerings
- SEC-related matters, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters.
Amanda was recently seconded to Morgan Stanley, where she advised on a variety of matters related to the Research department, including questions regarding the SEC Global Research Settlement, FINRA broker-dealer rules, and MiFID II.
Amanda maintains a robust pro bono practice representing asylum seekers and refugees in their applications for asylum and permanent resident status.
Prior to joining Latham, Amanda was the editor in chief of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She also served as a legal extern at a major insurance company and as a legal intern at the New Haven Legal Assistance Association and Central Connecticut State University.
Prior to attending law school, Amanda had an extensive career in corporate events and marketing, specializing in conferences, trade shows, and business-to-business messaging. Amanda is an alumna of the Legal Innovators program.
