Andrew Lee is an associate in the Singapore office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

He advises clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, exits, carve-outs, joint ventures, reorganizations and other corporate transactions across a wide range of industries. He has experience acting for public and private companies, private equity and other financial sponsors (and their portfolio companies), and individual shareholders.

Andrew previously worked in the London office of Latham & Watkins. Prior to joining Latham in the middle of 2022, Andrew practiced for four years at a top-tier law firm in Australia.

Mr. Lee’s representative work includes advising:

  • PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk, Indonesia’s leading chemical and infrastructure solutions company, on the formation of a consortium with Glencore plc and the acquisition by the consortium from Shell Singapore Pte. Ltd. of all of SSPL’s interest in Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Singapore
  • PTTEP, a subsidiary of Thailand’s national oil and gas company, on its acquisition of a 25.5% equity stake in the Seagreen offshore wind farm from TotalEnergies, for a consideration of £522 million (US$689 million)
  • British Columbia Investment Management Corporation on its:
    • Investment in Eku Energy, a global battery storage platform launched by Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group  
    • Investment (together with funds advised by Macquarie Asset Management) into National Grid UK’s gas transmission system, in a deal valuing that business at an enterprise value of £9.6 billion
  • KKR on its acquisition of Arnott’s and certain other international operations from Campbell Soup Company for A$3.2 billion (following a competitive sale process) and numerous bolt-ons* 
  • Blackstone and Greg O’Neill on their exit of La Trobe Financial to Brookfield Asset Management for A$1.6 billion*
  • Livingbridge on its acquisition of Waste Services Group from The Riverside Company*
  • Livingbridge on its acquisition of Everlight Radiology from Intermediate Capital Group, following a competitive sale process* 
  • The shareholders of Unispace Global on the sale of the business to PAG Asia Capital* 
  • BGH Capital on its acquisition of Healius’ (ASX: HLS) medical centers and dental clinics business*
  • EBOS Group on its strategic acquisitions of numerous medical devices businesses*
  • Penten in relation to a significant minority investment in the defense cybersecurity business by Five V Capital*
