Axelle Aubry is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Axelle advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law and represents them before the European Commission (EC) and the French Competition Authority.

Her experience covers several industry sectors including telecommunications, digital platforms, environment, and energy.

Prior to joining Latham, Axelle worked as a trainee at the Directorate General for Competition at the European Commission, and in a private international law firm in Paris.

A selection of Axelle’s experience includes representing:

  • Orange on its €1.8 billion acquisition of VOO (EU Phase II clearance) 
  • A major technology company in ongoing abuse of dominance proceedings by the European Commission
  • A major technology company on various strategic regulatory issues in connection with the EC’s DMA Proposal
