    Profile

    Aya AlHumaid assists in advising clients on a broad range of corporate and capital markets transactions.

    Aya’s practice focuses on assisting issuers and investment banks on capital market transactions including initial public offerings (IPOs) and other security offerings. She advises on:

    • Capital markets
    • Mergers and acquisitions
    • Corporate

    While completing her LLM at New York University, she assisted Professor Edward Rock in drafting the First Restatement of Corporate Governance for the American Law Institute and conducted extensive research in the area of corporate governance.

    Aya was involved in several pro bono placements, including a placement with Advice UK, where she assisted in providing free legal advice to underprivileged clients. She also has experience as a pro bono researcher at UN Women.

    • Elm, a digital security firm owned by the Public Investment Fund, in relation to its proposed IPO
    • East Pipes Integrated Company on its SAR504 million IPO on Tadawul
    • Jahez International, the Saudi leading online food delivery platform, in relation to its proposed IPO and listing of its ordinary shares on the Saudi Parallel Market, Nomu
    • The underwriters in relation to Nayifat Finance Company’s SAR1.19 billion IPO on Tadawul
    • The underwriter in the SAR1.44 billion IPO of Retal Urban Development Company on Tadawul
    • The underwriter in the SAR600 million IPO of Saudi Home Loans on Tadawul
