Casey Tong is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Tong advises public and private companies on various corporate transactions. Her experience includes:

  • Strategic corporate transactions
  • General corporate representation of both public and private companies

As part of her pro bono practice, Ms. Tong advises individuals seeking asylum and permanent residency in the United States, and advises under-resourced non-profits and startups on general corporate and employment matters.

While in law school, she was an articles editor for the California Law Review, an editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, and an executive board member of the Boalt Hall Women’s Association. Ms. Tong also served as a judicial extern to Judge Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. For two years, she served as an Academic Skills Program fellow, teaching small sections in civil procedure and torts.

She previously worked in the People & Culture Department of Medallia, Inc., where she engaged in various pre-IPO matters.
