Catherine Willis is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, and a member of the Project Development & Finance Practice and the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Practice.

Catherine advises clients on ESG policies and regulatory matters, sustainable finance, and project finance transactions, with a focus on renewable energy, including utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. 

Catherine earned her JD from New York University School of Law. She served as a student legal advisor to the Permanent Mission of Seychelles to the United Nations, as a fellow with the World Bank, Legal Vice Presidency, and as Managing Editor of the NYU Law Moot Court Board. Prior to joining the firm full-time, Catherine was a summer associate in the New York office.

Catherine maintains an active pro bono practice, including assisting refugees with the International Refugee Assistance Project. She serves as a coordinator for the Small Business Solutions program, which advises low-income entrepreneurs on the legal aspects of starting a business.
