Cheryl Coe retired from the partnership in December 2023. Cheryl advised private equity funds in connection with fund formation, sponsor-level transactions, as well as domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

Cheryl drew on her experience representing dozens of funds through their lifecycle. She understood the issues related to both formation and investments, so can anticipate issues and develop tailored fund structures. She also advised fund sponsors on internal economic arrangements, the acquisition of asset managers and on joint venture arrangements.
Cheryl regularly wrote and spoke on tax issues and has been recognized by Chambers USA for her impressive transactional practice. She is the former Chair of the Washington, D.C. office's Tax Department.
