Christine Zhao is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Zhao represents private fund sponsors on fund formations, investment structuring, and related transactions across a broad range of strategies.

She advises private equity and venture capital clients on a variety of transactions over the lifecycle of a fundraise from marketing to closing, including investor negotiation strategy, upper-tier structuring, and ongoing maintenance. 

Ms. Zhao maintains an active pro bono practice and has previously represented individuals in partnership with The Legal Aid Society, Her Justice, and TLDEF. 

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Zhao was an investment funds associate in the New York office of another leading international law firm.
