Daniel Bernal is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Bernal represents public and private companies litigating in federal court. He helps companies assess antitrust and other regulatory risk and challenges agency rulemaking in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Mr. Bernal maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum and tenants facing unlawful eviction. He is also involved in access to justice scholarship and advocacy.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Bernal clerked for Judge Andrew D. Hurwitz on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
