Daniel Kourosh Khalessi

Daniel Khalessi is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Khalessi advises clients on corporate and transactional matters, including technology transactions, emerging companies, and venture capital financings.

Mr. Khalessi maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently advising individuals on immigration and eviction matters.

During law school, Mr. Khalessi served as president (editor-in-chief) of the Stanford Law Review, a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law, and a Franke Fellow in Global Business Law. He was also a Latham & Watkins law preview scholar, 1L fellow, and 2L diversity scholar.

Before law school, Mr. Khalessi co-founded a technology startup, worked as a China analyst at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and interned at the US Department of Treasury and the US Mission to the United Nations.
