David J. Hlavka

David Hlavka is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

David represents clients primarily in patent litigation matters.

Prior to joining Latham, David worked for the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) as a primary patent examiner. At the USPTO, David examined patent applications in the mechanical, and electrical arts and assisted with examiner training. David received a US Department of Commerce Bronze Medal for superior performance.
