Hanks Bird is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Prior to joining Latham, Hanks served as a law clerk for Judge Ryan T. Holte of the United States Court of Federal Claims.

While in law school, he served as a vice president of the Law and Business Association, a staff editor for the Journal of Law and Business, and a judicial intern for Judge John B. Nalbandian of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Before attending law school, Hanks worked for a multinational corporation in the energy and infrastructure industry.
