Ece Gonulal is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Data & Technology Transactions Practice.

Ece counsels public and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity firms on intellectual property, technology, and commercial contract aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border transactions and complex carve-outs, as well as corporate financings. Ece’s work to date has spanned a variety of sectors, including software, energy, gaming, and internet services.

Ece serves on Latham’s Women Lawyer Group as a local co-leader in the New York office.

Before joining Latham, Ece was an associate at one of leading international law firms in Istanbul and took leadership roles in international intellectual property associations, including serving as the managing editor on the AIPPI Journal.

While earning her LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Ece served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center.
