Elaine Wang is an Associate Director of Global Knowledge Management and is currently based in the Washington, D.C. office.
Prior to joining the firm’s knowledge management team, Elaine was a senior associate in the Finance Department, having joined Latham in 2006. Her practice focused on all aspects of commercial real estate law, including commercial leasing, commercial acquisitions and dispositions, development projects and real estate financing, as well as the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, project finance, leveraged finance, corporate banking and secured high yield transactions.
Elaine is the co-author of “Revisiting the 24 Defenses of the Guarantor – 24 Years Later,” published in the January 2012 edition of The Practical Real Estate Lawyer, and is also the author of "Equal Protection in the World of Art and Obscenity: The Art Photographer's Latent Struggle with Obscenity Standards in Contemporary America," published in the Winter 2006 edition of Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law and awarded the Burton Award in June 2007.
