Dr. Eunnie Lee is an associate in the Bay Area offices of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department. Her practice centers on technology and consumer protection, involving complex litigation, government enforcement actions, internal investigations, and cybersecurity and data privacy issues. Eunnie advises clients on intricate regulatory compliance frameworks, crisis management, cybersecurity risks, and incident response strategies throughout all stages of the business cycle.
Eunnie is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). She has additional experience in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, venture capital financings, and intellectual property licensing transactions.
Eunnie maintains an active pro bono practice, partnering with organizations such as Swords to Plowshares to support veterans and their families, Community Legal Services of East Palo Alto for immigration matters, and Start Small, Think Big to provide legal advice to local business owners.
Prior to joining Latham, Eunnie received her JD from Harvard Law School and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. In law school, she worked as a legal intern with the US Department of Labor and a law clerk for the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, in the Privacy Enforcement and Protection Unit. Her PhD dissertation focused on software-based automation of engineering design in optics and acoustics.
