Francesca Forzoni is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Forzoni represents clients on a broad range of work, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate governance matters.

She maintains an active pro bono practice, representing charities in respect of corporate governance matters and individuals from lower income backgrounds in partnership with the Bethnal Green Legal Advice Centre. 

Ms. Forzoni serves as the London co-leader of the Women Lawyers Group as well as the co-leader of the Global Junior Associate Development subcommittee of the Women Lawyers Group. 

Prior to qualification, Ms. Forzoni spent two years training in the firm’s London office, gaining a variety of experience in corporate, leveraged finance, antitrust and competition, and debt capital markets.

Ms. Forzoni's experience includes advising:

  • TWG Global and Billie Jean King Enterprises in a joint venture with the International Tennis Federation to create a new partnership for the Billie Jean King Cup, the women’s World Cup of Tennis
  • Farfetch on the establishment and expansion of its Luxury New Retail partnership, including Farfetch’s proposed acquisition of 47.5% of YOOX Net-a-Porter from Richemont, as well as the agreement for Richemont and YNAP to each adopt Farfetch Platform Solutions
  • The consortium led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital on its £4.25 billion acquisition of Chelsea Football Club
  • Vivo Energy on a transaction with Engen, combining their respective African businesses to create one of Africa’s largest energy distribution companies
  • Authentic Brands Group on the English law aspects of its US$2.5 billion acquisition of Reebok from Adidas
  • Kongsberg Automotive in the sale of its Light-Duty Cables business unit to Suprajit Engineering Limited
  • Prosegur Cash on its acquisition of a controlling stake in the ChangeGroup, a foreign exchange services provider
