Gabriela (Gabbie) Chartier is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Chartier advises clients on a broad range of matters relating to white collar investigations and defense, as well as complex commercial litigation. As part of her active pro bono practice, Ms. Chartier assists in promoting principles of juvenile justice.  

Ms. Chartier received her JD, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center where she served as the senior symposium and development editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. In this capacity, she oversaw the Journal’s 2021 Symposium titled "Democracy in Transition." Ms. Chartier also held two judicial internships with the US District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Before joining Latham, Ms. Chartier worked at a public relations and crisis communications firm where she served clients with various publicity and crisis management needs.
