Latham & Watkins Named Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year

Gabrielle Blum is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Practice.
Gabrielle represents public and private companies, private equity firms, and investment banks in a broad range of complex equity and debt financing transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, and liability management transactions. Gabrielle also advises companies on general corporate and securities matters, including public reporting obligations.
Gabrielle maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented Afghan refugees seeking asylum in the US, and is a dedicated volunteer attorney for the Domestic Violence Clinic with the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. Gabrielle currently serves as a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
Gabrielle received her JD from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. In addition, she served as an intern for Chief Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn for United States District Court in the Northern District of Texas and as a summer associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office.
