Genevieve Zimmerman is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Zimmerman maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing individuals seeking asylum, victims of domestic violence, and incarcerated individuals.

Prior to joining the firm full-time, Ms. Zimmerman was a summer associate in the New York office.

Ms. Zimmerman earned her JD from the University of Southern California's Gould School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Ms. Zimmerman also was a member of USC’s Hale Moot Court Team and National Moot Court Team. While in law school, Ms. Zimmerman participated in USC’s Post-Conviction Justice Project Clinic, where she represented incarcerated individuals at parole hearings.

In addition, Ms. Zimmerman served as a public service fellow for the New York Attorney General’s Office in the Public Integrity Bureau and as a legal extern for the US Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California in the Criminal Division.

Prior to law school, Ms. Zimmerman worked as an account manager at a digital marketing firm, where she developed, managed, and executed digital marketing campaigns for a top ten Fortune 500 company.
