Grace Kim is a corporate associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Grace advises private equity firms as well as public and private companies on public and private mergers and acquisitions, complex carve-outs and divestitures, cross-border transactions, and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Grace was a corporate associate at a New York-based international law firm.

Grace’s experience includes representing:

  • GTCR in its acquisition of a majority stake in PathGroup, an independent pathology laboratory
  • eBay in its US$3 billion sale of a majority of its Korean businesses to Emart, a Korean retail company*
  • Jazz Pharmaceuticals in its US$7.2 billion acquisition of GW Pharmaceuticals, a British pharmaceutical company*
  • Intrado Corporation in its US$690 million divestiture of its Health Advocate business to Teleperformance, a French omnichannel company*
  • Varian Medical Systems in its US$16.4 billion sale to Siemens Healthineers, a German medical device company*
  • Analog Devices in its US$21 billion all-stock acquisition of Maxim Integrated Products, a semiconductor manufacturing company*
