Haim Zaltzman advises private capital, growth equity, and emerging growth clients — particularly in the technology and healthcare industries. Haim serves as Global Vice Chair of Latham’s Emerging Companies & Growth Practice and as a member of the firm’s Strategic Initiative and Private Capital Committees.

Haim represents borrowers, sponsors, financial institutions, and emerging companies in debt financing transactions. 

He also represents growth  companies, sponsors, financial institutions, and other participants in the growth space in private capital transactions, with a focus on structured equity debt and other corporate transactions.

Over nearly two decades he has helped clients execute:

  • More than US$100 billion in growth debt transactions (venture, structured, royalty, and lower middle- market deals)         
  • Hundreds of billions of dollars worth of private equity and growth equity financings (acquisitions, add-ons, refinancings, etc.)    
  • Tens of billions of dollars worth of leasing, royalties, and other asset-backed transactions

As a thought leader in the industry, Haim regularly writes and speaks about topics relevant to growth companies in the tech and life sciences industries. 

He frequently appears in media outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, CFO Magazine, The Recorder, Law360.com, The Daily Journal, the International Financial Law Review, and VCExperts.com.

  • Various private equity and venture capital firms in debt and equity financings of all types
  • Multiple technology and life sciences companies and sponsors in deSPAC transactions 
  • Multiple lenders and companies in securitization-related transactions
