Haijing (Helen) Liu is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Helen is a member of the Finance Department and the Banking Practice.

Helen represents investment and commercial banks, private equity firms, and borrowers in a broad range of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Latham, Helen was a senior associate at one of the top law firms in Luxembourg. While there, she completed a one-month secondment at a leading Chinese financial institution. Helen also served as a member of the Events and Communications Committee at the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce from March to July in 2018.

Helen's experience includes advising:

  • The lenders on a US$4.87 billion term loans and revolving credit facility in connection with sponsor's acquisition of Tech Data Corporation, a distribution company specializing in IT products and services
  • The lenders on a US$1.58 billion term loans and revolving credit facility in connection with TA Associates Management, L.P.'s acquisition of MRI Software, a provider of real estate and investment management software to real estate owners, investors, and operators
