Jana Zupikova advises major global financial institutions on sophisticated structured finance and securitization transactions.
Jana draws on extensive experience to represent investment managers, arranger banks, funds, and investors in matters involving:
- Collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) including warehousing and refinancings
- CLO investments through a variety of financial instruments
- Funds financings
- ABL and SPV facilities
- All related regulatory matters
She brings substantive experience advising on EU and UK risk retention structuring, the set up of retention vehicles and retention solutions including through the use of derivative instruments, in both European and US markets.
Jana assists major credit institutions, pension funds, insurers, AIFMs and UCITs in relation to the regulatory considerations involved with respect to their investments in securitizations globally.
Jana has significant derivatives experience and continues to assist clients on structured repo transactions including repo securitizations and the restructuring of such arrangements.
Jana spent two years on secondments in New York at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, assisting the banks’ leadership in the implementation of Title VII (Derivatives) of the Dodd-Frank Act.
Jana is active with several global financial industry associations assisting with efforts related to proposed rulemakings affecting global financial markets.
