Jana Zupikova is an associate in the Finance Department of the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Structured Finance Practice.
Jana represents a range of financial institutions, in particular investment managers and arranger banks, funds and investors in relation to a variety of structured finance transactions, CLOs, CLO refinancings, derivatives, repo and securities lending transactions, and all related regulatory developments.
She advises established EU and US managers and issuers, pension funds, and UCITs on risk retention structuring of their investments, as well as those managers wishing to enter European CLO market.
Jana has experience advising emerging market banks and sovereigns in all aspects of securities, structured finance and derivatives transactions.
Jana advises Elrha (a subsidiary of Save the Children) in relation to its charitable activities.
Jana spent two years on secondments at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, in each case in their NY headquarters, assisting bank leadership in implementation of Title VII (Derivatives) of Dodd-Frank Act.
