Jennifer Esch is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.

Jennifer advises clients on patent litigation, particularly for clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.

Jennifer earned her JD at Harvard Law School, cum laude. While in law school, Jennifer served as a submissions manager for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and taught copyright law online as part of Harvard’s CopyrightX course, including as head teaching fellow for the course.

Jennifer received her PhD in Neuroscience from Stanford University and her AB in molecular and cellular biology from Harvard University. Her doctoral research focused on visual processing. Prior to attending law school, Jennifer worked with pharmaceutical companies as a strategy and management consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
