Jessica Lietz is an associate in the San Diego office and member of the firm's Finance Department.

Jessica represents corporate borrowers, banks, direct lenders, private equity sponsors, and other financial institutions in a wide range of complex financing transactions, with a particular focus on the gaming and hospitality industries. She has experience negotiating and documenting various financial transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, leveraged acquisition financings, renewable energy project financings and cross-border financings.

As part of her active pro bono practice, Jessica represents clients in connection with various immigration-related matters.

While attending law school, Jessica was an editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.

Prior to joining Latham, Jessica was a Finance associate at another leading international law firm.

Jessica's experience includes representing:

  • Caesars Entertainment, Inc. in connection with its senior secured credit facilities
  • Lead arrangers in Penn National Gaming’s US$2.55 billion senior secured credit facilities
  • Churchill Downs Incorporated in connection with its senior secured credit facilities
  • Lead arrangers in connection with the financing of a 197 MW wind project located in Texas
  • Golden Entertainment in its US$40 million incremental revolving senior secured credit facility
  • Lead arrangers in Veritiv Operating Company’s US$1.1 billion ABL credit facility*
  • Lead arrangers in connection with the refinancing of a US$4.2 billion senior secured credit facility for an American petroleum corporation*
  • TreeHouse Foods Inc. on its US$242.5 million acquisition of the majority of Riviana Foods Inc.’s US branded pasta portfolio*
