Jonathan Kow is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Jonathan represents public and private companies as well as private equity funds on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic acquisitions.

Jonathan maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes advising not-for-profit organizations on entity formation, representing individuals seeking asylum, representing transgender individuals seeking a name change, and corporate governance matters.

Jonathan’s experience includes advising:

  • Energy Capital Partners, in the acquisition of Triple Oak Power, a renewable energy developer with a pipeline of more than 8.0GW of renewable development projects
  • Endeavor in the US$21 billion merger of UFC and WWE
  • Bang Energy, a leading energy drinks and performance beverage manufacturer, on closing a chapter 11/Section 363 sale of its assets pursuant to an asset purchase agreement with Monster Beverage Corporation
  • Syneos Health, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYNH), in US$7.1 billion take-private acquisition by a consortium of private investment firm affiliates composed of Elliott Investment Management L.P., Patient Square Capital, and Veritas Capital 
  • Skydance Media on its joint venture with the NFL to create a multi-sports production studio
