Joe Farrell is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins. His litigation practice focuses on employment law litigation and counseling. Joe provides employment law advice to and represents employers in litigation in the following industries:

Joe writes on a variety of employment law topics. He is the Contributing Editor for the Rutter Group’s California Practice Guide, Employment Litigation, Age Discrimination chapter.

Joe has also taught Employment Law as an adjunct professor at USC Gould School of Law.

Joe has trial experience in employment and commercial litigation. He has defended employers in the areas of discrimination, wage and hour claims, wrongful discharge claims, and sexual harassment. He has also prosecuted and defended claims of trade secret misappropriation, and breaches of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. He assists employers with executive employment agreements, employment and wage policies and counsels them on a wide range of employment-related issues.
