Karen Sung is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Sung earned her JD from Yale Law School, where she served as a submissions editor of the Yale Journal of Law & Technology and a member of the Tech Accountability and Competition Clinic.

In law school, Ms. Sung worked as a legal intern for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office on the Data & Privacy Task Force, as well as a teaching fellow for courses on intellectual property. 

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Sung worked at a public affairs consulting firm in Washington, D.C., where her clients spanned the tech, nonprofit, and finance sectors.
