    Profile

    Kevin Fingeret is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Kevin is a member of the Finance Department, as well as a member and former Global Co-Chair of the Structured Finance Practice.

    Kevin has extensive experience representing banks and other financial institutions, issuers, borrowers, and sponsors in a variety of structured finance and securitization transactions. 

    Kevin focuses on the securitization of esoteric and operating assets. His experience includes structured finance transactions and securitizations involving wholesale and retail data centers, music and media royalties, cell towers (and cell tower sites), broadcast towers, logistics facilities, billboards, rental car fleets, aircraft, railcars, and net leases. 

    Kevin was recognized in Chambers Global, Chambers USA, and The Legal 500 US as a leading securitization lawyer and a recommended lawyer in Asset Finance & Leasing and Structured Finance.

    Kevin's recent experience includes representing:

    • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, placement agents, arrangers, issuers, and sponsors in data center securitizations (including first-ever wholesale data center securitization and first-ever colocation data center securitization) and as arrangers and lenders in other structured data center financings
    • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, and arrangers in multiple tower and tower-site revenue securitization programs, and in warehouse financings for similar assets
    • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, and arrangers in industrial distribution center securitizations (including first-ever industrial distribution center securitization)
    • Issuers, sponsors, and borrowers in the securitization and structured financing of music royalties and other IP related revenue 
    • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, placement agents, arrangers, issuers, and sponsors in rental car fleet securitizations
    • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, placement agents, arrangers, issuers, and sponsors in net lease securitizations
