Lea Avsenik

Lea Avsenik is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Lea represents private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in a range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions, including leveraged financings, acquisition financings, and liability management transactions.

Lea earned her LL.M. in Corporation Law at the New York University School of Law. During her time there, she also participated in the Bankruptcy Assistance Project (pro bono).

Prior to joining Latham, Lea was a banking, finance, and capital markets associate at a leading law firm in Slovenia. She also served as a judicial clerk at the Appellate Court in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
