Leah Beukelman is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Leah advises public companies and private equity firms in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, take-private transactions, divestitures, and other growth-based investments across a broad range of industries.

Leah maintains an active pro bono practice serving as guardian ad litem in partnership with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.

While in law school, Leah was an online executive editor of Northwestern University Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Leah held various positions in operations and licensing within the music industry. 

Leah’s experience includes representing: 

  • Stericycle in its pending US$7.2 billion acquisition by Waste Management 
  • Omnicom in its US$835 million acquisition of Flywheel Digital, the digital commerce business of Ascential 
  • Nippon Life in its pending US$3.84 billion acquisition of a stake in Corebridge Financial 
  • EssilorLuxottica in its pending US$1.5 billion acquisition of the Supreme® brand from VF Corporation
