Leia Gu is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice.
Leia advises clients on a wide range of complex healthcare regulatory matters across a number of industries, including healthcare providers, life sciences companies and health technology companies. Leia’s practice spans regulatory, transactional and white collar matters, including:
Federal and state fraud and abuse matters, including compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act and federal program exclusion authorities
Mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings and strategic transactions
Compliance program development and implementation and compliance with Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) obligations
Enforcement matters, including internal investigations and voluntary disclosures
In addition to her legal practice, Leia serves as a Global Leader of the firm’s Women Lawyers Group. Leia is also a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in domestic violence and immigration matters.
