Mark Goshgarian is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.

Mark advises public and private companies and private equity sponsors, along with their portfolio companies, in connection with their domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and other complex commercial and corporate transactions.

He regularly advises clients within the software, technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, and retail and consumer products industries.

Prior to joining Latham, Mark was an associate at a leading boutique law firm in Los Angeles where he advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in their M&A transactions. Prior to attending law school, Mark worked as an associate at a Big Four accounting firm where he provided accounting and financial services to his clients. His experience advising strategic and financial clients in a variety of transactions, along with his experience at a Big Four accounting firm, gives Mark a deep understanding of his clients’ business objectives and allows him to develop pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.

While in law school, Mark served as the chief research editor of The Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, competed as a member of Cardozo/BMI Moot Court Team and the Transactional Negotiation Team, and served as a judicial extern to Judge Dolly M. Gee of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Prior to law school, Mark received a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California.

Mark’s representative matters include advising:

  • Crimson Renewable Energy Holdings in the sale of its used cooking oil collection and aggregation business to Neste, the world's leading producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel produced from waste and residue raw materials
  • Basalt Infrastructure Partners in its acquisition of Fatbeam a broadband service provider in the Western United States
