Nassef Ghazy is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Project Development & Finance Practice. Mr Ghazy trained in Latham's London and Singapore offices, gaining experience in project development and finance, corporate and acquisition, and leveraged finance transactions. 

Mr. Ghazy’s recent experience includes advising:

  • The pathfinder ECAs on a US$20 billion Asian fully integrated LNG project which includes significant carbon reduction project
  • Euler Hermes and the lenders on the Hermes-covered €135 million financing of an integrated agro-industrial project in Egypt, incorporating reclamation and cultivation of land and construction and operation of the world’s largest sugar beet processing plant. Named Project Finance Deal of the Year by IFLR Middle East Awards 2022 and Best Structured Finance Deal in North Africa by EMEA Finance Achievement Awards 2021
  • Export credit agencies and commercial lenders in relation to the US$1.63 billion financing of the FPSO Almirante Tamandaré to be deployed in the Búzios field offshore Brazil
  • Saudi Aramco on the development of a 9 million MTCO2 /annum CCS project in Saudi Arabia with Linde, SABIC, and Air Products — the largest project of its kind outside the US
