Nick Boulter is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Mr. Boulter advises on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and general corporate matters.

He previously trained in the firm’s London office gaining experience in corporate, finance, and tax matters, as well as completing a secondment to the London offices of The Carlyle Group.

Mr. Boulter maintains an active pro bono practice.

Mr. Boulter’s experience includes assisting:

  • FIS on the non-US corporate restructuring aspects of the sale of a 55% majority ownership interest in Worldpay, LLC to leading private equity firm GTCR, which valued Worldpay at US$18.5 billion and was the largest US leveraged buyout in 2023, according to Refinitiv
  • Sixth Street Growth on its investment in a €285 million funding round for SumUp, a leading global financial services company
  • Raine Partners on its minority investment in Castore, a premium UK sportswear brand and technology-enabled, end-to-end digital platform for global sports teams
  • The Rise Fund, TPG’s global impact investing platform, on their US$200 million minority investment in the mobile money business of LSE premium listed company, Airtel Africa PLC
  • The Carlyle Group on its agreement to acquire a majority stake in luxury, streetwear, and sportswear retailer END
