Nicolas Gonzalez is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Capital Markets Practice.
Nicolas primarily advises private and public companies on capital markets, general securities, and general corporate matters. His experience includes representing issuers and underwriters in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including:
- Initial public offerings
- Direct listings
- Secondary equity offerings
- Investment grade and high-yield debt offerings
He also advises early-stage companies and leading venture capital firms on financings and general corporate matters, with a focus on the financial technology and technology sectors.
Nicolas' experience covers a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on the consumer retail, entertainment, financial technology, and technology sectors.
He maintains an active pro bono practice, helping low-income entrepreneurs start, grow, and expand their businesses through Latham’s partnership program with NYC Small Business Solutions, and he currently serves as a global leader for the firm's Hispanic/Latin American Lawyers affinity group.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Nicolas was an SEO Law Fellow. While attending Cornell Law School, he served as an editor of the Cornell Law Review.
