Priyanka Krishnamurthy is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Privacy & Cyber and Data & Technology Transactions Practices.
Priyanka assists clients with cybersecurity and data privacy regulatory investigations, US data privacy compliance and advice, and corporate transactions from a data privacy and cybersecurity perspective.
She maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing an individual seeking asylum. Priyanka received her JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School where she was a student attorney in the Boston College Innocence Program, assisting incarcerated clients with post-conviction investigations and appeals. Prior to joining Latham full-time, Priyanka was a summer associate in the Boston office and a 2L Diversity Scholar. She spent a summer with the Cyberlaw clinic at the Berkman Klein Center, where she co-authored an amicus brief arguing that First and Fourth Amendment violations at the border disproportionately impact immigrants and chill speech.
Prior to law school, Priyanka was a Technology E&O and Cyber Underwriter at an insurance carrier in Atlanta, GA, where she trained junior underwriters, performed risk analysis, and managed broker relationships.
