    Profile

    Rebecca Han is an associate in the Singapore office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Finance Department.

    Rebecca advises clients on a variety of finance transactions including domestic and cross-border financings, margin loans, acquisition finance, and project finance transactions.

    Rebecca received her LPC from the University of Law and her LLB from the University of Oxford, where she served as vice president of the Oxford Lawyers without Borders group and as a volunteer under the Oxford Legal Assistance program.

    Rebecca trained in the firm’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices, completing seats in the Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions Practices.

    Rebecca’s experience includes advising:

    • Kadita Partners on the term loan facilities for a fully integrated physical commodity trading business with a focus on the energy coal sector
    • Term loan facility in connection with Gribbles Pathology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.’s acquisition of MY Kappa Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian healthcare services holding company 
    • PT Pertamina EP Cepu on its US$1.8 billion project financing in connection with the construction and development of a gas processing facility and pipelines, with an expected allocation of 192-MMSCFD to the gas offtaker located in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, Indonesia. — awarded Asia-Pacific Oil & Gas Deal of the Year 2019 by Project Finance International 
    • Lodgis Hospitality Holdings Pte. Ltd., a hotel investment platform on its amendment and extension to term loan facility 
    • Warburg Pincus on its term loan facilities in connection with its acquisition of Storhub Holding Pte. Ltd, a holding company for a portfolio of self-storage real estate assets in Singapore 
    • First Stronghold Cement Industries Inc.'s parent company San Miguel Corporation on its term loan facility in connection with its acquisition of Holcim Philippines Inc., a Philippines-based cement manufacturer 
    • MyRepublic Group Limited, a Singapore-based company engaged in providing internet access and broadband-based services to consumers and businesses in its amendment and restatement to term loan facility to refinance existing debt 
    • Pioneer Generation Company in its sale of a 22% stake in Summit Power International, a Singapore-based power producer, to JERA Co.
    • Vingroup in its sale of a stake in Vinhomes Joint stock company, a Vietnam-based real estate developer, to a consortium led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. 
    • Athena Concorde Holding Ltd. on its Equity Investment with ARA Real Estate Investors in connection with its minority stake acquisition of Cromwell Property Group, a real estate investment trust company based in Australia
