Richard Dacher is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Mr. Dacher advises issuers and financial institutions in a variety of debt and equity capital markets transactions. He maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing Afghan refugees in asylum applications in partnership with Human Rights First.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Dacher was senior articles editor of the Cardozo International and Comparative Law Review. He also served as an M&A tax intern at a major accounting firm and as a legal intern at the New York State Supreme Court.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dacher had an extensive career in public accounting, specializing in tax advisory and compliance.
