Scott Gottdiener retired from the partnership in March 2022. He is the former Global Chair of the firm's Finance Department and was a member of the Banking, Communications Law, Private Equity Finance, and Project Development & Finance Practices. He primarily represented commercial and investment banks, as well as borrowers, in leveraged finance transactions including acquisition financings, project financings, bridge financings, and other senior secured lending transactions and restructurings.

Scott has substantial experience representing investment banking firms in all types of lending transactions, including acquisition financings, project financings, bridge financings, and restructurings in a broad range of industries, including financial services, gaming, media and telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, energy, and retail. His practice included representing banks and financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Barclays, and Jefferies Finance, as well as borrowers and developers in various lending transactions.
