Ted Bantle is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.
Ted received his JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where he received the John F. Kennedy Labor Law Award and the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law. In his second year, he served as a global teaching fellow in International M&A and Anti-Corruption. Upon graduation, Ted was elected to the Order of the Coif. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
Prior to joining Latham full-time and while attending law school, Ted served as commissioner for the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service (FMCS) in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, CA, and Pittsburgh, PA. In this role he mediated and facilitated regulatory negotiations, employment disputes, collective bargaining negotiations, and other matters. Additionally, he served in a consulting role on numerous international projects relating to the field of dispute resolution. Prior to his time with the FMCS, he worked as a field examiner for the National Labor Relations Board. In 2017, Ted was a summer associate in Latham's Los Angeles office.
