    Profile

    Tim Robinson is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice.

    Tim advises on a range of lending, restructuring, and insolvency matters (including contentious and non-contentious, and in-court and out-of-court processes), acting for corporates, lenders, funds, directors, officeholders, and government clients.

    Prior to joining Latham, Tim practiced at top-tier law firms in both London and New Zealand.

    Experience

    Tim’s experience includes advising:

    • The joint administrators of certain English subsidiaries of Babylon Health, a digital health service provider, in respect of the administration and sale of assets to eMed UK
    • The provisional liquidators of Genting Hong Kong, a holding company of various cruise and resort businesses*
    • The lender coordinating committee in respect of the comprehensive debt restructuring of Comdata Group, a leading global service provider in customer management*
    • A range of companies and their boards of directors in respect of the management of liabilities, funding, and restructuring options and contingency planning*
    • A derivative counterparty in relation to nickel price exposure following the events of March 2022*
    • The lenders financing the acquisition of Vodafone New Zealand by Infratil and Brookfield Asset Management for NZ$3.4 billion, one of the largest New Zealand M&A transactions on record*
