Tom Glynne-Jones is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Project Development & Finance team.

Tom represents sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in connection with project development and finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Tom’s experience includes advising:

  • A national oil company on various intra-group revolving credit facilities and term loan facilities
  • The sponsors, led by TotalEnergies, on several ECAs’ US$20 billion financing to develop a Mozambique LNG project
  • Export credit agencies and commercial lenders on the US$114 million project financing for the construction of ACWA Power’s 200-MW Kom Ombo Solar Power Plant
  • A multinational commodities trader and a distributor of transportation fuels and major biodiesel producer in connection with a borrowing base facility secured against refined oil-related products, including bioethanol, biodiesel, and used cooking oil, in multiple jurisdictions
  • Halfaya Gas Company on the concession agreement with the South Gas Company (wholly owned by the Iraq Ministry of Oil) to develop midstream gas processing facilities at the Bin Umar Gas Field in Iraq
